2016 Minced Guide to the Summer

I got up early this morning to put the finishing touches on a post about summer vegetable quiche.  As I was about to hit publish, I realized that 4th of July was just days away and that quiche is the farthest thing from your mind.  Hotdogs, shrimp boils, and flag cakes are all acceptable fare this weekend.  Quiche is not.

Which is why you’ll find my post about quiche next month and today you’ll find my annual guide to the summer.  This annual tradition serves as a good reminder to me of my favorite recipes for the season.  In reading it, I hope that you find it just as beneficial and that it not only reminds you of past favorites, but also leaves you inspired to try something new in the kitchen.
